Five tips to improve and increase your low iron levels:
Iron deficiency might occur in your body due to low absorption of dietary iron. Non-heme iron is more affected by dietary factors than heme iron. In this article, I discuss five ways by which you can increase the intake and absorption of iron in your body –
1) Increase intake of Vitamin C
2) Consume soaked, cooked, germinated foods
3) Keep the calcium intake in check
4) Do not consume tea or coffee with meals
5) Iron fortification or supplementation
